About this solution
Manage everything in one Platform.
Here’s how PDAs work in managing our supply chain operations:
Receiving Products from Suppliers: When products arrive from suppliers, staff use PDAs to scan barcodes or QR codes on the goods. This instantly records product information, including quantities and locations, directly into the system, updating inventory in real-time.
Tracking and Storing Inventory: The PDA guides users on where to store products in the warehouse by displaying storage locations or bin numbers. Once the items are placed, they are scanned again, confirming the correct placement and updating the system.
Order Preparation for Merchants: When an order is received from a merchant, the PDA provides step-by-step instructions for picking items, including the exact location and quantity needed. Staff scan each item as they pick it to verify accuracy.
Packing and Shipping: After picking, the PDA assists in verifying that the correct products are packed and ready for shipment. Scanning the items again ensures no mistakes, and the order status is updated to "ready for shipping" in real-time.
Real-time Data and Accuracy: All these steps ensure that inventory levels, order statuses, and product information are constantly up-to-date, reducing errors and enhancing operational efficiency.
By integrating PDAs into our operations, we streamline both inbound and outbound processes, ensuring a smooth flow from supplier to merchant.
